Jim has lived in Forest Lake for a total of 38 years, growing up in the area before returning in 2004. He and his wife, Merri, have two children, Zach and Lexie. As a business owner, Jim runs two separate ventures—an online sales business and a health and wellness company.
Jim joined the Forest Lake Area Good Samaritans Board after being asked by Mike, finding it hard to say no to both the opportunity and his passion for helping others in the community.
One of his favorite "Pay it Forward" moments was buying a bike for a young child and their family after it had been stolen. He’s guided by Winston Churchill’s words: “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
